  10. If you currently edit your CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files and then   
  11. reboot to change your system configuration, you're doing the work that  
  12. BOOT.SYS should be doing for you.

  14. BOOT.SYS makes it possible to display one or more menus at boot-up      
  15. time.  Execute different parts of your CONFIG.SYS and/or AUTOEXEC.BAT   
  16. files, depending on which options are chosen from a configuration menu.

  18. Need different drivers or memory configurations in your CONFIG.SYS file 
  19. for different applications?  In the past, you either had to rename or   
  20. edit your start-up files and then reboot to get a different setup.
